Our stay at the Surf Lodge was amazing! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach with great surf and stunning sunsets. The owners were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area, giving us fantastic recommendations. The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, although we did have to bring our own coffee and some basic kitchen supplies. The peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained gardens made for a relaxing stay. we highly recommend the Surf Lodge for an unforgettable beach getaway.

This lodge exceeded my expectations in every way. The spacious rooms were clean and comfortable, with comfy beds that ensured a good night's sleep. The location couldn't have been better, with the beach just a short walk away and the town easily accessible. One of the best aspects was the outstanding service provided by the staff. From Keilyn, the attentive hostess who always anticipated my needs, to Alex, who did a fantastic job maintaining the pool and ensuring everything was clean and well-kept. The fully equipped kitchen was also a major plus, with a large refrigerator and all the necessary utensils.

While my overall experience was amazing, there were a couple of minor downsides. Firstly, some kitchen equipment was missing, such as a kettle, coffee, and salt and pepper.

The lodge's pool, location, and Jalapeño cafe were fantastic. Air conditioning and ceiling fan kept the room cool. The hostess was attentive and helpful, anticipating all needs. We loved the convenient location in the heart of town, just a short stroll to the stunning Playa Negra Beach. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking easy, and the large refrigerator provided plenty of space. The pool was well-maintained and the gardens were delightful, offering lots of relaxing and hangout spots. The food at the on-site restaurant, Jalapeño cafe, was outstanding. The lodge felt quiet, peaceful, and private, making it the perfect place to stay in Playa Negra.

I also felt safe and secure with the hotel's large gate that they lock at night. this is definitely my favorite place to stay.

I recently stayed at Playa Negra Surf Lodge for a week-long getaway. The location of the hotel is perfect, just a short stroll away from the beautiful Playa Negra Beach. I loved that there were great healthy restaurants within walking distance, and Keilyn, our hostess, was always available and accommodating since she lives right next door. The rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfy. The highlight for me was the gorgeous pool, which I found myself in at least twice a day. The central location was fantastic, and I also enjoyed dining at the delicious Jalapeño cafe nearby. The air conditioning and ceiling fan in our room kept us cool throughout our stay. Keilyn provided excellent service and was kind and attentive. The hotel facilities were great, and the beach was just a short distance away. I highly recommend staying here for a wonderful and relaxing experience.

I got great value for my money at the Surf Lodge. The room was cool, clean, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect, walking distance to the beach and right in the middle of town. The staff treated me like a VIP, especially Keilyn who was always making sure I had everything I needed.
